Es una lástima que hayas escrito tres ensayos muy largos.

Me alegro de que hayan asistido al bautizo del hijo de nuestra sobrina.

Are you asking us to help with your homework? You see that's one thing that we just can't do around here. Unless, that is, you show us first of all what your answer would be. Then we're more than happy to say - "yep you're on the ball, totally right" or "great try but actually this is the correct answer ...". If we don't do that and we just go around giving answers to questions that people haven't even tried to work out we are really doing them no favours as they will never learn for themselves :(

So why not tell us what you think and we'll get back to you with some helpful help smile

They look right to me. Es una lástima and Me alegro de que should both activate subjunctive tense. Not a native though.

You are completely correct. confused I am trying to figure out what I missed on an assignment. We got "Yo he escrito" and had to use "Es una lastima que..." to convert and respond to the sentence.

I figured the presente perfecto del subjunctivo would be correct. I just wanted to double check that I didn't miss something becuase I know the conjugation of the verb is correct and am pretty sure it is appropriate to use presente perfecto del subjunctivo.

Sorry for being rash. Thank you for the reply.
