Continuing from my previous question, are the slang words allowed to be used in formal letters? Like you know, to a pen pal etc? Thanks!

Well, would you use slang in English in a formal letter? Writing to a pen pal wouldn't exactly be a formal letter would it?
Be very careful when using slang though, if you don't know exactly when and how to use it, it can get you in a lot of trouble.
