If you don't mind - in English you should write - Can anyone please briefly explain the difference to me? :) - galsally, Apr 30, 2011
I forgot to say - in your second 2 examples you don't need the 'tú' most of the time. - galsally, Apr 30, 2011

They are different ways of asking what 'you think' of something (asking somebody informally using the 'tú' form.)

You can use any of them to ask, for example:

What do you think?

  • ¿Qué te parece? (Literally - How does it seem/appear to you?)

  • ¿Qué piensas?

  • ¿Qué crees?

or you can expand the question to include an object, a situation etc.

  • ¿Qué te parece mi vestido?

and so on and so forth.

Hope that helps. smile

This is one of those cases where you actually shouldn't omit the pronoun. A sentence like "¿Crees?" would be interpreted as "Do you believe (in God)?", while "¿Tú crees?" is clearly making a contrast: is that what you believe, as oppose to what other people believe? You normally say that when there are several possibilities to be considered, and someone offers an unexpected one, so you highlight the uniqueness of the suggestion with this contrastive "tú". A simple "¿Piensas?" would be even worse: it sounds as if you are surprised that the other person has the ability to think, to use the brain.
