Están con la moral bastante alta. - They are in very high spirits.

This is a very good sentence, but I really do not understand it. Using bastante as very? Using moral as spirit? Can someone explain, por favor?

Gracias

Moral in this case means morale. and I agree bastante translates better as rather They rather high spirits or morale.
