Different types of Spanish
how do you know which meaning to use when you have different ways of saying words.like i see words from different cultures how do you know you are sticking to one spanish language. i know there is a latin version and so on.

No, there is one Spanish language, just like there is one English language. There are regional differences no matter where you go, but people don't learn Georgia English or Milwaukee English. They just learn English.
Now, in Milwaukee, a drinking fountain is called a "bubbler", and in Georgia I might carry my girlfriend to the movie theater. Those are just regional differences that we come to understand.
Spanish is exactly the same way.
The same way a person learns English. That person does not know if it is English from Britain, USA, New Zealand, Australia or simply a foreigner speaking English.
No way to know if the person speaking English has an education or not or if it is utilizing good grammar, etc.
Just plow ahead, it will be fun, and become more interesting as you start discerning some of these in your head.
