Question

I have been using SpanishDict for quite a while now, and it truly is very helpful when dealing with such nonsense homework and confusion. Because of SpanishDict, I now can learn while having fun and plus, it's so makes my Spanish 1 class so much easier! I was just wondering if there are any other free, fun, spanish learning websites like this one that I also can use to study for upcoming tests, quizzes, etc. Thank you for any answers and comments given!:D

There are many. For a basic vocabulary builder I suggest this site. It's introduces you to new vocabulary without boring you to death having to look up every word.

On this site you can read Spanish articles and see the definitons of all the words simply by passing your mouse over it or clicking on the word. It keeps track of the words that you don't know until you tell it that you know the word. It keeps track of how many words that you know. It has a lot of individual tools, forum help, etc. And, of course, its basic use is free.

Great for learning vocabulary, but you won't get the grammar explanations that you get here.

Busuu is pretty good too but I'd say that Spanish Dict is pretty unique because of the people here

I used this website There are interesting video lessons that help you with basic Spanish for holiday or so, and it is a good "thriller" too. Really worth seeing

This site offers good explanations on tenses, verb drills, grammar and pronounciation - but unfortunately doesn't seem to have a forum. Their free membership is somewhat limited too, as you can only get the full benefits with the premium (paid) membership. But if you're willing to pay, it also has live podcasts and CDs on offer. It also has free directories to spanish schools abroad.

SpanishDict is great and I use it a lot, but also look for other websites all the time. Really depends on what I'm currenly trying to learn or understand. At the moment I'm using something that is complementary to what SpanishDict offers (conjugation) - reverse verb lookup. You can input any inflected form of a verb (like: hable) in the search box and it finds that this is a form of hablar and is used 4 times (!) in different tenses and/or persons. Knowing it helped me a lot to get rid of the confusion caused by this repetition..
