Please, help me

Question

Could you help me and tell me if the grammar is OK?

Six months ago I had an experience that taught me the advisability of going with my intuition. I was studying my English course in San Miguel district and I needed to move to other district (La Molina) but I didn´t the date exactly, if I moved to the other district I must to study there, so I decided to change my studies because my sister in law told me that they will come to my house in San Miguel district approximately in a month, I wish I had paid attention to what my inner voice was telling me. Unfortunately, I didn´t do that, and I had to suffer the consequences. I had to quite to study three months and I had back to my San Miguel Institute.

If I moved to the other district I would have to study there, so I decided to move my studies, because my sister in law told me that we would move from my house in San Miguel district in approximately a month.

I wish I had paid attention to what my inner voice was telling me. Unfortunately, I didn´t do that, and I had to suffer the consequences. I had to quit studying for three months and I had to go back to my San Miguel Institute.
