that - what - for

Frecuentemente cometo errores con las palabras what, for and that. En realidad no sé diferenciar su uso. Could you please help me?

Ejemplo de mis errores:

It's important for anyone buying a used car to examine it thoroughly.

Yo escribo: It's important thatt anyone buying .............

En el ejemplo:

It´s obvious what Kelsey loves her new house.

Yo escribo: It´s obvious that Kelsey loves ............

Thanks

It´s obvious that Kelsey loves her new house.

Es la respuesta correcta.

It's important for anyone buying a used car to examine it thoroughly.

Aquí es un poco más complicado. Porque fíjate:

...anyone buying a used car. Esto es el sujeto.

Hay adjetivos en inglés también que requieren usar algunas preposiciones y la forma infinitiva del verbo.

It's important to examine....

It's important for someone to examine....

Pero también se puede decir:

It's important that someone buying a car examines it thoroughly.

Pero el significado cambia. Esa frase significa:

Es importante que la gente que compre un coche de segunda mano lo compruebe de la cabeza a los pies.

El ejemplo tuyo era:

Es importante comprobar el coche para alguien que lo compre de segunda mano.

Yo escribo: It's important thatt anyone buying .............

No es incorrecto; solo diferente. "It is important that anyone buying a car examines...", meaning "Es importante que cualquiera que compre (literalmente: 'comprando') un carro lo compruebe...

Yo escribo: It´s obvious that Kelsey loves ............

La tuya me suena incluso mejor. La primera no parece tener sentido.

The first example they both say exactly the same thing to me. (for and that)

In the 2nd example the what is incorrect.

It could be re-worded as:

It's obvious what Kelsey loves about her new house.

This would not have the same meaning as:

It's obvious that Kelsey loves her house.

In the sentence that was incorrect it is the difference between que and qué in an indirect question. The what in the sentence is qué; not que.

The reason for the difference mentioned in the first example is that "for" is being used as a preposition and "that" as a conjunction.
