¡Hola! smile I need a help.. I found sentence -- Su gata de usted es blanca. -- GATA? In my dictionary it's GATO.. So I tried use Google dictionary and when I assign gata it was also cat.. Tan estoy confundido.. confused Please, tell me the true about this cat word.. grin Gracias

Hola Tom, The sentence is strangely constructed. It should be either: Su gato es blanco or El gato de Ud. es blanco. In both it would mean " Your cat is white.

The cat can be described as being either male, gato, or female, gata.

Well Tomiik, first, Welcome to the Forum. Second, this is the gender sensitive nouns in Spanish (I don't remember the technical term). Anyways, gato would be a male cat and gata is a female cat.
