Would you translate this card for me?

Would you translate this card for me?

The card is for my boyfriend in Uruguay.

On the cover it says: "Sometimes, I lie awake at night and think you and all the wonderful ways you make me happy."

Inside it says: "Needless to say, I don't get much sleep."

I tried google translate but when I re translated, it came out really weird.

Thanks for you help!

The translation from Goyo is very good.

As a native speaker from Spain I would translate it a little different, not so literally:

A veces me desvelo por las noches pensando en ti y en cómo me haces tan inmensamente feliz.

No hace falta que te diga que tengo sueño.

(I address the last phrase to your boyfriend).

Sorry for my English spelling wink Happy Easter!

Definitely go with this one. There is much about your English text that's very idiomatic. As non-native speakers, Qfreed and I can make perfect sense of it in Spanish, but we just can't know how to say it the same way they would say it. - Goyo, Apr 27, 2011

Hi Twitterchick, and welcome to the forum.

Here is my best effort:

A veces, estoy desvelada toda la noche pensando en ti y toda la manera que me haces feliz. Ni que decir tiene que me falta de sueño.

Not a native, so this is very literal. Wait for a native. Just wanted to given you a starting point that you could work from. It makes the machine translator happy, but that is meaningless.

Algunas veces, yago en cama sin dormir por la noche y pienso en ti y en todas las maneras de que me haces sentir feliz.

No hay que decir [ni que decir tiene], no duermo mucho.
