In Mexican spanish what does it mean if someone says "ella es la duena de mis quinientos"?
I went out to lunch today with a Mexican friend of mine and he told the worker (who he knows from coming in frequently- at Chipolte) he said, referring to me, "la duena de mis quinientos." At least I think that's what he said. Something similar at least. Anybody up on Mexican lingo enough to know what that means? Gracias!

That is not "Mexican lingo", it is just Spanish. If what you heard is right, he was saying "she is the owner of my five-hundred". Im not sure what he would be referring to, although I am assuming it is money.
P.S. it should be "dueña".
