I beg your pardon'

When we missed somebody saying something in a conversation, we would say ''sorry?'' or ''I beg your pardon" in English. How is that said in Spanish ?

The easiest one is ¿Cómo? - I used to say "Qué?" but that is not as polite. - ian-hill, Apr 26, 2011

¿Cómo? - informal, similar to "What?" in English

¿Mande? - formal, though I believe this is exclusively used for that purpose in Mexico

I agree, mande is probably not understood in that sense except in Mexico. I hear that @LL the time aqui en Tejas though. - DJ_Huero, Apr 26, 2011
Sí mande is most common here in México norte - pacofinkler, Apr 26, 2011
