To Shake (a Baby)

Question

I work with child abuse prevention programs and I am trying to figure out how one would say "shake" when it refers to shaking a baby. Here are the words that seem to fit the closest: sacudir o menear

The sentence is, "It only takes one hard shake or one hard hit to the head or body to kill an infant or small child."

So far, the translation is, "Tan sólo toma ___________ o un duro golpe en la cabeza o en el cuerpo para matar un bebé o un niño penqueño."

Let me know what you think is better.
