A friend of mine who is hispanic told me that te quiero means I like you not I love you which is it he told that te amor means I love you. Is he correct with both these questions.

Te quiero y te amo mean I love you. Both are correct. I like you es me gustas...Te amo is more than te quiero. Recuerdos desde Madrid.
