So, curiousity has gotten the best of me and I must ask... Am I the only person who uses a real picture of them? What about your name?

P.S. I think real names should also be used but like the photos I can understand and respect that also. Mine is Gary, feel free to use it.
Why would I use a picture that ugly if it weren't me?
I had just shaved before taking my own picture, but it is obviously me.
I used to have a picture of my cat, Sparky, who is a Bengal.
About a month ago, a friend of mine who studies photography as a hobby needed to take a portrait as homework for her class. I agreed to sit for her. I liked the picture enough, but after she electronically touched it up, I felt 20 years younger and decided to use the picture for my avatar.
Ever since I fell into that river of lava,I've been shy. So now I have a mask. My real face? ,I wouldn't do that to all the good people here. Buena suerte ,y tenga un buen día.
Why, you silly! Of course I use a real photograph of myself, and my real name and everything! Isn't it obvious?
Don't you think that someone who enjoys the public's adoration as much as I do, will do everything to be easily recognizable by his fans wherever he goes? 
In response to the question, I updated my profile to a picture I just took. No idea how long that will last before I decide it has to go. I had been meaning to do that anyway, but I was waiting until the Blazers (my prior logo) were out of playoffs for sure.
I do agree that it is nice to be able to see a real picture, but also recognize that there many reasons someone may not want to.
I did like my prior logo as it was simple and did not fill the square, so it was easy to pick out. Still, I will give this a try.

I used to use a picture of a bird (petirrojo). If you connect the dots you can even guess my given name. Well in fact, you don't even have to guess since I mention it on my profile page 
Well ,that is me all right , I still have the hat to prove it. I did use another photo
for about 4 months which was of my dear old Da when he was 17 years old.
The girl in my profile photo is really me, honest to goodness, and of the course the dude is my hubby. It was taken on our wedding day in 1990, so you can do the math.
Of course I do and it's a dog's life out here in the real world.

Yup. That's me. My real name is Patrick but friends and family have called me Patch ever since I was a baby. Nobody remembers what the name means though. So there you go. Simple.
