¿Cómo se dice en español el verbo infinitivo "to smell"?

¿Qué tipo de lista quieres? El verbo oler - to smell, sólo es una palabra, no es una lista.

This is a little tough. Oler tends to mean "to produce a scent" as in "the rose smells." If something stinks, use the regular -ar verb "apestar." If you are saying that someone detects a scent say that they sentir o notar el olor de_____ For example "Siento el olor de rosas." I sense the smell of roses..or..I smell roses.
