Jraider, when the announcement was made in Spanish at church for an "Easter egg hunt", the Spanish speaking announcer used the English term "egg hunt" instead of trying to translate it into Spanish.

The members are from Latin American countries, but everyone understood what was announced.

The other answer is probably best, but I don't think everything needs to be translated. When we announce "Cinco de Mayo", we don't translate it into English. I'm probably alone in this opinion, but I don't try to translate holidays or traditional activities into other languages. First, I usually can't translate them myself. Second, the audience usually understands anyway.

Hope that helps!

That is in Tennessee. We have a combined fellowship of English and Spanish speakers. - 0066c384, Apr 20, 2011
Well, not that it isn't done, but, socially, if Spanish speakers live in the US they quickly learn the passtimes. Bien dicho dogwoord. =) - DJ_Huero, Apr 20, 2011
