Pronunciation of "v"

I notice that Paralee pronounces "v" as" vee" as in English. For examle: "vivo" and not "bibo." I think both are correct. Any comments? Frank Porter.

In spanish, we use v or b for written tradition reasons. There are not diferences in their pronounce. Sorry for my english.

You should always pronounce "v" as "b". Be aware, in some parts of Spain people pronounce "b" as "v". It´s absolutely incorrect. You´ll say [bibo] and [bebida]. Sometimes you can hear [vivo] but you shall never say [vevida].

En español no hay diferencias de pronunciación pero, en España tenemos 4 idiomas oficiales y en algunos de ellos como en el catalán sí que hay diferencias. Cuando un catalán o un valenciano habla en español a veces se nota esta diferencia pero es por la influencia de la otra lengua y no es propio de español.
