"On Thursday" Translation Help, please!

I'm hoping to say, "we cannot go there on Thursday." Would it be, "no podemos ir allí a las jueves"?

Gracias!

Don't forget, if you want to pluralise, ie on Thursdays, it would be,

los jueves

Hmm... I see what you are saying and why you were using "a las". You see, we use the definite article "el, los" when we say days of the week, but we say "a las" when we say "at something o - clock". "Voy al cine a las seis y media". I'm going to the movies at 6:30. "a las" should be singular - "a la" - only when we say one o clock. "a la una". Yes, we should use "el jueves" or "los jueves" just like most of the other posts point out. If you want a specific time on thursday, then you can say "no podemos ir allí el juves a las (whatever o clock)".
