what is the difference between dijo and dicho? where to use and when?

Hi, Reema.

This is it basically and in a nut shell:

Dijo is the past preterit and means he (she, usted, it) said.

Dicho is the past participle and needs the helping verb "haber." He dicho (I have said), Has dicho (You have said), etc.
