what is Deundes?

A child on my bus gave me this word and told me it was an animal in spanish. I can not find any such word, or animal. Do you know what it means? All the child wrote was DEUNDES

It might be "duendes" instead of "deundes". "Duende" is a word is used in flamenco context, it means "spirit", although it doesn´t have an exact translation into English.
