Girl 1: Hola Carolina

Girl 2: Catalina

Girl 1: Umm... sarcastic smile.... ¿Y eso que más da?

Seems like something sarcastic. And what else is there, what else does it give? I don't know. Gracias

Je2010 is essentially right. In short, "what difference does it make?" - Gekkosan, Apr 19, 2011

hi friends

"¿Y eso que más da?" means "dose it make any difference" (means: they are iqual). or "dose it matter more?".

so, when you say name of somebody wrongly and you are noticed but you say that these to words (names) are the like, you are infact looking it in sacratic and ironic way. one way to show this sacratic view, is sacratic smilng.

therefore, when the first girl called the second one with a wrong form of her name, and

hence was noticed of the right pronounciation of the name, the first girl got them iqual in a ironic way and told: dose it make any difference?!!

Hi Je2010, if you don't mind, you made some spelling errors ;): "Does it matter", "they are equal", "these two words", "sarcastic", "an ironic way". - chicasabrosa, Apr 19, 2011
