Does this site give accurate translations?

Question

i am in spanish class and my teachet says that what this site gives me is not correct grammar and is not using conjugations correctly!

That depends on what you mean, and what you want.

This is not a translation site; this is a learning site.

You can get rough translations using the online translation tool, but that is a machine, and as Mariana said, that is not very reliable.

This site is a much better learning tool than a translation utility. There are known errors in some of the lessons and sections, but it is a very good aid nevertheless.

However, the best assets on this site are its members. Currently, we have a number of extremely knowledgeable people posting answers and providing corrections and help, and I am sure that most school teachers could benefit from the lessons that our members have posted here.

So, use it or not, as you will. You're welcome to stay and learn as much as you want to, or go as you please.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

No machine translator can be 100%, or even close to that number.

You need to pass your translations done by the machine to a native speaker or advanced student of Spanish.

This is why we have the forum :p
