hemos estado/estuvimos con Rosa hace poco Hemos is formed from the verb "haber", and is the "we" form (http://www.spanishdict.com/conjugate/haber). Haber + the -ado or -ido ending is to mean "to have done", so in this sentence we have "we have" then "estado", meaning "We have stayed".

In "estuvimos", you're simply saying "we stayed", rather than something that has been completed. The "we have" implies that it has happened, but "we stayed" implies something more immediate, and that it might happen again. With this answer, both of them are right I think, it would depend on the context which one you'd use.

Cuándo ha nacido/nació tu hijo mayor? In this one, we have the third person "ha" from "haber", and "nacido" from nacer (nacer, remove the ER, and attach the ido). Both of these mean a similar thing, and the "Have" in this sentence isn't really used in English. In this sentence you have "When was your oldest son born?" for both of them. In this one, "nacer" is conjugated in the pererite, which is probably more fitting than "ha nacido" because this translates into english as "has he born?", instead of what we'd say "has he been born". I'd stay with "nació" here.

cuando nos casamos, hemos hecho/hicimos un viaje por América Central. This translates to "when we marry/married, we had/we went on a journey journey through central America". You have the "hemos" as the "we" form of haber again, and "hecho" as the irregular participle of hacer. The "hemos hecho" works, just not well. Because you have "casamos" in the preterite past, you'd follow it with the preterite I think, so hicimos here.
