Escribas is from the verb escribir = to write but in the present subjunctive
You would normally use the present indicative form escribes to ask questions rather than the subjunctive
e.g.:¿Escribes cartas? = Do you write letters? (This conjugation is using the familiar form escribes (tú) to address friends, family children and younger people or those you know well)
Are you writing a letter to your boyfriend ?= ¿Estás escribiendo una carta a tu novio?
This is an example, courtesy of Seijaku, where you would use the present subjunctive to ask questions
¿Esto es algo para que tú escribas?"
I am not an expert on this matter All I an say is that your example looks and sounds odd using the subjunctive in place of the indicative to ask questions unless the situation naturally requires the use of the subjunctive..
I would encourage you to wait for some further responses especially from Lazarus, Samdie, Izanoni Heidi, Cogumela or one or the fluent /advanced speakers.
I hope that helps
Corregid mi español, por favor
Then, it should be:
¿Has escrito tú ese poema?
or:
Ese poema ¿lo has escrito tú?
have you wrote that poem?
Feliz77, who wanted to know when to use subjunctive in a question: "¿Esto es algo para que tú escribas?"
sir77700: If you want to ask a question, as Feliz77 said, indicative is better suited when you ask direct questions such as "¿Qué escribes (tú)?". Remember that in Spanish there is no need to use the personal pronoun because it is implied in the verb. In fact, it sounds strange and repetitive when you constantly use the personal pronoun, specially in questions. It is more often used in emphatic mode.
Hi, sir 77700!
"es escribas tu" is not correct in any case.
It would help if you tell us what you mean in English.
