No me salió con naturalidad

No me salió con naturalidad

It didn't come to me naturally, like running doesn't come to me naturally, but salir feels out there, since it means - to come out, to go out. Like donde ha salido eso? Where did that come from? (come out from) so is it right like this? Gracias.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, in the end, but, "no me salió con naturalidad" means "I didn't do it / say it / perform it naturally", rather that it it didn't come to me naturally.

For example: "Quise engañar a Jeezle con una broma el primero de Abril, pero no me salió con naturalidad, y se dió cuenta de que era mentira."

Running doesn't come to me naturally: El correr no me es natural / no se me hace natural .

Oh so it means you were gonna do (and maybe you did do it?) but It was weird the way it came out, and unnatural. NOT that it wasn't something you were good at. It came out all weird like. Does it mean you DID do it though, or you didn't?

Gracias

Yes, "no me salió" means I did it, but it didn't turn out (as I expected). - Gekkosan, Apr 17, 2011
