Kill me but you're not going to get anything. I don't get llevar there. Gracias I assume it means "take" like you're not going to take anything.

Take is correct here. You may interpret it as "get", and it works, but the Spanish sentences does mean "take":

Yes, I remember from my experience in Mexico that you can order un cafe para llevar (which means to take away)
