hi friend,

I think it can be used in two case:

with meaning of "being good or useful for sth/sb. so it means: itthat is good/useful for you/it

with the meaning of "fiting sb". it means( for example, in the case of clothes): it fit you/do for you. in this second use, its equivalent in spanish is: "te queda bien = (for example, this cloth) fit you/ do good for you".
