I'm not 100% Luz but I believe "nuez" or "nueces" is feminine which would mak e"estos" "estas". Please double check. Love the sentence by the way!! :) - Jason7R, Apr 13, 2011
I think you are right, Jason, thanks a lot:) - luz_72, Apr 13, 2011

''I get all my acorns from " Acorns are Us'' there are branches everywhere!''P tongue rolleye smile LOL grin

= ''íConsigo todas las bellotas de 'Acorns are us''... hay sucursales por todo el mundo!";-P tongue rolleye smile LOL grin

Editor's note: There is a shop in the Uk called Toys are Us so the ''Acorns are Us'' is intended as a kind of joke..

The verb will be somos, not son. - Deanski, Apr 13, 2011
Wow, that was harsh. Consigo todas las bellotas de "Bellotas somos nosotros". Hay sucursales (ramas is not understandable here) por todo el mundo. Well done, Feliz! :) - cogumela, Apr 13, 2011
By the way, 'Bellotas son nosotros' is incorrect in Spanish. And the translation sounds really odd, the best option would be not to translate shop's name, I think. :) - cogumela, Apr 13, 2011
I don't understand the harsh part cogu? - Deanski, Apr 14, 2011

Está es una foto de una ardilla rica, que tiene más nueces que cualquier otra. Se le conoce por ser ‘Carlos Slim’: el hombre más rico del mundo.

This is a photo of the richest squirrel. He has more nuts than any other squirrel. He is considered to be ‘Carlos Slim’. Carlos Slim is the richest man on earth.

I can't understand "of the Carlos Slim of the squirrel world" Squirrel world?? ... es el hombre más rico del mundo / de la Tierra. Well done, Rolest! :) - cogumela, Apr 13, 2011
Hola cogumela: Maybe the sentence structure is used more in English than Spanish. - Rolest, Apr 13, 2011
What it means is “equates to” (in the squirrel world) the same connotation as the way that “Carlos Slim” is ‘recognized as’ or ‘has a reputation for’ in the ‘human world’. - Rolest, Apr 13, 2011
Sorry, Rolest, I still don't understand what the squirrel has to do here... :) Could you rewrite the first part of the sentence with another words? What do you mean? - cogumela, Apr 13, 2011
Hola cogumela: I changed it to the word for word meaning of the English sentence structure. - Rolest, Apr 13, 2011
:) Let's see, Rolest: Está es una foto de una ardilla rica, que tiene más nueces que cualquier otra. Se le conoce por ser ‘Carlos Slim’: el hombre más rico 'de' la Tierra / del mundo. Well done !!! :) - cogumela, Apr 13, 2011
Gracias cogumela. (Sorry about the masculine/feminine agreement things). Wow, this was a very confusing sentence! - Rolest, Apr 13, 2011
