Querría y Quería?
Hi, Could you please explain what´s the difference between Querría y Quería for these examples? Basically it means I´d like to in the past (right?), but in one example there's single R, the second - RR.
Quería que mis abuelos viajaran. Querría que ella escribiera una carta.
Muchas gracias!

They are different tenses (imperfect and conditional), but in Ecuador querría is not used: they use quisiera instead.
You should also note that quería and quiso have different nuances of meaning, and this difference changes between affirmative and negative sentences.
quería = wanted
querría = would like
As lorenzo said, "quisiera" is often used for "would like" instead of "querría" especially in questions.
