"To get to"
Quisiera saber cómo decir "to get to" en español.
Anoche, estaba hablando con un hombre en español, y después de que dije "gracias por hablar conmigo," quería decir "I don't get to speak Spanish very often" pero no sé un verbo que significa eso. En inglés, "to get to" es como "to have the opportunity" to do something, o en español, "tener la oportunidad de" hacer algo, pero poco más informal.
¿Existe un verbo en español que significa esto? ¿O hay algo semejante?

This is exactly how to say it.
You have to remember that "Get" is very idiomatic and not translatable in most cases. If you want the nuance of a sudden occurance such as "Get" implies, you could say something like "pocas veces me cae la oportunidad."
No puedo hablar mucho en español porque . . .
No tengo muchas oportunidades de hablar . . .
Que yo sepa no un verbo singular que quiere decir esto. Mejor te ciñes a tener la oportunidad Llegar a singifica to get to pero solo en sentido de dirgirse a un lugar.
If he's from Mexico you can say "tener la chance / chanca" (soft second c) but that is not understood everywhere. I don't know if there is a less formal way though, like a construction.
