How to say you like someone

How do you say you like someone in Spanish? Not that you like them romantically or you have a crush on them, just that you like them as a person.

Is there a way to differentiate between liking someone and getting along with them? For instance, how would you say that you like someone (a celebrity, etc.) who you don't know personally?

I've been told to use "caerse bien" to say that you like a person, but isn't this more like you get along with them (implying that you know them) rather than you just think he/she is a cool person?

Hope this isn't too confusing Thanks

Puedes usar "me gusta", ya que no implica amar, puede tener varios significados, uno es amar, y otro es gustar pero sin atracción física.
