Violar la ley

This might be a stupid question but please answer anyway!!! smile

Alright....so violar la ley means to break the law.....and violar conjugated is

(yo) violo

(tú) violas

(él/ella/usted) viola

(nosotros) violamos

(vosotros) violáis

y (ellos/ellas/ustedes) violan

So were i to say "I break the law", would it be "Violo la ley"? To say "You break the law", would it be "Violas la ley"?

Thanks so much for your help!!! (in advance) K :D

Your conjugation looks correct. I had to look up violar,a new verb for me,And I found violar la ley. Also, it had " violar las derechas ". Good Job.

You could try them in the translator - just be careful because it is not always correct.

Check all 3 translators - if they are all the same they "might" all be correct or all "wrong"

Yep, your conjugation and use is correct, but I would avoid it and use quebrantar when the context is unclear because it also means to rape.
