Please correct my English and Spanish - Vaanz, Apr 10, 2011
Seeing as it's a girl in your picture perhaps it should be sola :) - Kiwi-Girl, Apr 10, 2011
Or solo is an adverb modifying vivir (vivir is not a linking verb like estar/ser: I am alone/single) - 0074b507, Apr 10, 2011
But then wouldn't the English version say 'Living alone ...'? - Kiwi-Girl, Apr 10, 2011
Vivo sola en mi apartamento ( Kiwi is right). Good, Vaanz ! :) - cogumela, Apr 10, 2011

Para algunas personas volando sentirse muy solo, pero por Amelia Earhart volando era un momento de alegría en el tiempo.

For some people flying would feel very lonely, but for Amelia Earhart flying was a joyful moment in time.

Edit: A algunas personas volar les haría sentirse muy solas, pero para Amelia Earhart volar era un momento de alegría en el tiempo.

¡No me digas ni una sola palabra! que estoy enfadadísima contigo.

Don't say a word to me, because I'm really angry with you.

(Is this okay, or in a heated situation would you be more likely to say something shorter, like maybe ".¡.ni una palabra!"?)

It's okay, the sentence is perfect. In a heated situacion one tend to save words and would pobably say "no me hables", or "ni una palabra" :) Well done, Sally - cogumela, Apr 10, 2011
Thanks Cogu. Of course we'd do the same in English. 'That's enough!' 'Not one more word' etc - galsally, Apr 11, 2011
