Question

Has anyone out there tried Busuu.com ? If so, how is that site ? I haven't done it because I can't see how it could be better than SpanishDict. and I am concerned it may be more distracting than helpful. Thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated .Gracias.

I have tried Busuu in the past. I suppose that, for the most part, the lessons are OK (they are mostly flashcard based), but not all of them are included unless you are a paying member. There were a couple of things that I did like about the site such as the fact that written assignments were corrected fairly quickly by other community members (native speakers). The chat feature (both voice and text) is also fairly nice, and it's usually not to difficult to find people willing to spend at least a few minutes chatting. Personally, I would just treat it as another resource to have at your disposal.

I haven't got a clue, why don't you try it out and see for yourself?
