I'm having difficulty conjugating here. Here is an example sentence containing the phrase that's giving me difficulty. (Yes, this is about baseball.)
"There have been nine teams total, but only six of them currently operate."

impersonal haber and haber as auxiliary verb
La carne ha sido cocinada por más de tres horas. (haber as auxiliary verb in classic passive voice)
The meat has been cooked for more than 3 hours.
Ha habido muchas opiniones de/sobre el asunto. (Impersonal haber..There have been...)

Han sido nueve equipos. There have been nine teams or Habian nueve equipos.
