More trouble with "just"
In this case, with the phrase, "it just does". In case that doesn't give enough information, here's an exemplifying line containing it.
"I don't know how this computer works. It just does."
I'm starting to realize how infuriating the word "just" must be to learn the usage of.

Hey, Hex. Welcome to the forum.
You are so right...it's a tough and versitle word to get straight in your mind.
In this case it means "simply"
- Precisely; exactly: just enough salt.
- Only a moment ago: He just arrived.
- By a narrow margin; barely: just missed being hit; just caught the bus before it pulled away.
- At a little distance: just down the road.
- Merely; only: just a scratch.
- Simply; certainly: It's just beautiful!
- Perhaps; possibly: I just may go.
