Desde works if you are saying "I am coming [here] from Chicago."
De works if you are saying "I come from Chicago (I am from Chicago)."
A works if you are saying "I am coming to Chicago."
Vengo de Chigaco = I come from Chicago
The personal pronoun yo is unnecessary here as vengo can only mean: I come

a "which means 'to' "
There are too many options. What are you or your teacher thinking of?
I don't think that works. Desde is a preposition, from. That suggests to me that you'd to be going from one place to another. Of course, I could be completely wrong. Maybe someone else who knows more will join in.
