What does "Que me ves pende jo" mean?
There is a piece of artwork called "Explore" by Nicole Marroquin at the National Muesum of Mexican Art in Chicago. The sculpture is of a man staring down at you and across his face reads "Que me ves pende jo." Her work is amazing and I was just wondering what this translates to so I can understand the piece more. Thank you!

It's ¿Qué me ves pendejo? and it means, "What, do you think I'm stupid?"
Only it's really not quite that nice.
You could buy this hat and wear it to the gallary (I don't think it would be safe wearing it anywhere else!!!
Thanks everyone! That makes a lot of sense from the way the figure was staring at me. :0 )
OK, this is troubling for me, so I want to re-open it. Julian, a native speaker, has given an answer, which I am sure is probably correct:
Actually it's closer to "What are you looking at, stupid?" Said when being accused of watching someone - JulianChivi
The thing is, I don't understand the grammar.
So here it is again: ¿Qué me ves pendejo?
The thing that's bothering me is the "me".
Is it somehow, "What are you looking at me, pendejo?"
Same question and how and if I can post the photo of this ffkin hat!!!??
Qué at the beginning has so many meanings Goyo, I would think of it as either "(Por)que me ves, pendejo" or as How do you see me, as a pendejo?
Qué at the beginning - (Espero Qué, (random verb) Qué, Es Qué, Para Qué, Porque) on and on. In my experience that is....
