subjunctive or indicative?

I think that "I am very grateful that you can do it" would be: Agradezco que puedas (subjunctive) hacerlo, but that "I am very grateful that I can do it" would be: agradezco que puedo (indicative) hacerlo, because both clauses have the same subject? IS this right? Thanks

You are not informing the other person that he/she can do it, so you can't use indicative. Whether the subjects match or not makes no difference here.
