confusing word

Question

I know manaña is for tomorrow, but is also means morning too? Is there another word for morning? Is it simply implied that the Spanish speaking person(s) understands? Reminds me of how confusing English can be. Thanks.

It depends on the context that you use it in, for example if you say: Te veo mañana, then it would be see you tomorrow, if you say te veo en la mañana it would imply I'll see you in the morning. And there really isn't any other way to say morning unless you wanted to say like cerca de la madrugada which means close to dawn or daybreak. Hope that helps

la mañana=morning

el mañana or usually simply mañana =tomorrow or in the near future

por/de la mañana=in the morning

Voy a hacerlo mañana. (tomorrow or in the near future)

Voy a hacerlo por la mañana (in the morning)

mañana por la mañana= tomorrow morning
