Hola a todos- does anyone have ideas about how to translate 'local anesthesia' and 'general anesthesia' ?
'Anestesia general' seems ok, but 'anestesia local' sounds completely wrong...any ideas?

Anestesia local is correct. So is anestesia general, for that matter.

"Anestesia general" is when the person loses consciousness and general reflexes.

"Anestesia local' is when a part of the body loses sensitivity.

I didn't know you knew that the terminology was identical, so I made it as clear as I could. - lazarus1907, Apr 5, 2011
