I have worked here since 1999. Please review and correct my sentence construction.

Hi Polyglot,

I'm sure your sentence would be understood but I think these 2 are the most common options, although they do sound odd to us. Interestingly, I believe I've heard people with English as a second language say 'I work here since....' etc, haven't you?

Trabajo aquí desde 1999.

also

Hace ... años que trabajo aquí.

Whatever, this will bump the thread and somebody else might step in with better options!
