Creo que la honestidad de Ernesto, según lo retratado cuando es honesto con el hombre con el tumor y mal libro de su amigo, es bueno. Sin embargo, como cristianos, creo que debemos asegurarnos de que hablar la verdad en el amor y no por despecho. Debemos pensar en nuestras pasiones y cómo podemos usarlos para el bien de los demás.

Honesty in Spanish is female. So it is "buena".

Besides there is an extra "que" in "…asegurarnos de que hablar la verdad…". I can't really explain the grammar rules since I'm a native speaker and I just learned it through years of practice, but it goes like this:

If you wanted to make sure you talk the truth, you could use two forms:

"Debemos asegurarnos de hablar la verdad". "Debemos asegurarnos de que hablamos le verdad".

The meaning is pretty much the same, it only changes the tense of the verb. I would compare it to the difference between "We need to make sure we speak the truth" and "We need to make sure we're speaking the truth". I'm sure someone else can help with the name of the tenses and a more academic explanation. sorry
