Good quality cheap hotel?

Has anyone been in a good quality hotel in Dublin?

I suppose thousands of Northern Irelanders have. Are there any out there?

I stayed in the Brewery hostel, it was very nice and quite central and had friendly staff. But a lot of people don't like hostels because of having to share a room with strangers.

Still, there might be private rooms available if that's your sort of thing, most hostels have that option.

If you are going in the Summer months, an option to consider is staying at Trinity College Dublin. (My alma mater!) Google Summer accomodation at Trinity College Dublin. It is a beautiful campus! Enjoy Dublin!
