How to say "high prices" in spanish

I am trying to say "I justified high prices for the junk."

The sentence I have come up with is, "Yo justifiqué __________ para los trastos."

I think it would be, "Yo justifiqué los precios altos para los trastos," but I was wondering if there was a better way to say "high prices."

Maybe a native speaker can help me out on this one! smile Or if you have you "precios altos" before, feel free to pass on your wisdom!

Thanks!

In any case I think you should use "Por en lugar de Para"
