Un ejemplo de honestidad contundente de Ernesto es cuando le dice a un hombre mayor que él tiene un tumor en su cara. Alberto responde con horror, porque él explica que él prefiere tener una cama y el estómago lleno. Ernesto dice que porque le dijo al hombre acerca de su tumor, que podrá recibir un tratamiento que podría salvar su vida.

The problem with the paragraph is focus and structure. Could you tell us what is it exactly you are trying to say, in English? As it is, that paragraph is barely sensical.

I don't understand what having a bed and a full stomach has to do with having a tumor or not...are these from a book? Maybe I just need to understand the context.

Also, there's an extra "que" in the last sentence. You don't need to say "que podrá..." you already connected the sentence with the previous "que": "Que porque le dijo..."

Full sentence should be something similar to: "Ernesto dice que porque le dijo al hombre que tenía un tumor, podrá recibir un tratamiento que podría salvar su vida."
