Is this Mexican or Spain

Question

Ok is the Spanish on this website Spain or Mexican dialect I'm wanting to learn the mexican style since I live in texas

It probably depends on whether the person answering is from Spain or Mexico. Why is this an either/or choice.? Why have members from other Spanish speaking countries. - 0074b507, Apr 3, 2011

The site features both, but certain entries in the dictionary do tend a bit towards the Spanish of Spain. I say just a bit, because many entries also list equivalents of Latin America and Mexico words or phrases. I think this is perfectly appropriate place to start learning Mexican or Latin American Spanish. If you see a word or phrase and you are not sure if it is widely used in all countries, just ask, and someone will provide you with the answer rapidamente.

I will suggest,that learing the classical or spanish of spain will not be wrong anywhere in the spanish speaking world. Usages and words will differ, you will be understood with the classical,sometimes with a smile. If you are immersed in an area ,that is what you must learn, but if you are not ,in my opinion learn the classical.
