Can molido mean emotionally crushed (heartbroken) as "crushed" can mean in English? Is it ever used that way, i.e. "estoy molido" to mean "I am heartbroken?" I, of course, looked it up and I see that it can mean exausted, and I see the other meanings. Thanks. Every answer gets a vote.

In Puerto Rico, "estoy molido" is slang for "I'm exhausted" while "carne molida" means "ground beef".

Tom: in mexico I use molido or atropellado for being ¨beat up after a hard day. like "run over by a bus" or "ground up"

You sure it's not "estropeado"? - 002067fe, Apr 3, 2011

Here's a link to the RAE. It seems that molido,a can mean you were dumped in an insulting way but it would be the 5th definition so that might not be a common use of the word. Maybe a native speaker can confirm.
