? Have you mashed a couple of items together or forgotten to punctuate correctly?
? It would be very helpful to see the complete sentence properly spelled and punctuated to determine what this means.

? Let me suggest on a wild guess that:
- "estudio un curso de la universidad" has to do with studying a course at a university", and
- "estancia" has to do with the length of stay needed to take the course.
? That suggestion is mere conjecture and cannot be relied upon.

Estancia could be the name It normally refers to a type of room and in certain areas and hacienda. It also it the noun stay. I look up the denifition and I did not see anything related to school.

estancia 1. stay 2. room (habitación) 3. cattle ranch (hacienda)

I am a little confused about what you are saying.
